Radish Rx

While it’s no secret that deer are highly attracted to forage radish throughout fall and winter, selecting this variety of Eco-till Radish was a bit of a process for us. With dozens of clients who prefer a radish-only plot every year, we decided to conduct a trial of several varieties of radish and while we observed the project from our office window we were blown away with the attraction that this trial had for deer. It was like a magnet as deer parked in it. In fact, the plot lasted so long and consistently attracted so many bucks that we ended up finding 11 shed antlers in and around this 4-acre trial plot! Our relatively small triall plot was on a 100-acre farm chock full of deer food (in other words, the deer had plenty of other options available to them). Two varieties stood out so we purchased both and included one in another product and opted to go with Eco-till Daikon-like forage radish in our Radish Rx offering.
