Developed with the regenerative food plotter and soil health advocate in mind, FALL NOURISHMENT™ is a soil health building blend that provides a thick, diverse plant residue carpet when rolled down. This weed suppression mat serves as the perfect seedbed to drill direclty into. Others have had great success broadcasting into FALL NOURISHMENT™ first then rolling it down. While the rolled plant residue dies, your seed bed retains moisture and suppresses "weed" growth. When we say we "plant our fertilizer", we are referring to FALL NOURISHMENT™! Why FALL NOURISHMENT™? - We developed FALL NOURISHMENT™ for our consulting clients who were extremely satisfied with FALL RELOAD™ but they had been using it for multiple years and sought additonal options. Soil health is accomplished by adhering to the soil health principles and one of those principles is to constantly introduce planned, purposeful disruptions to your system through complex rotations. Although FALL RELOAD™ offers higih diversity in one blend, we are still constantly throwing curve balls at our soil biology and ecosystem to allow it to thrive at what it does best: regenerate and thrive biologically as a resilient ecosystem.

How is FALL NOURISHMENT™ different from FALL RELOAD™? - When Jason developed FALL RELOAD™, everyone though he was crazy...they still do! Although he had several main resource concerns when selecting the major plant funcitonal groups, species and individual varieties for FALL RELOAD™, his major goal was to restore health to the soil micorbiome while maintaining attraction and nourishment for holding white-tailed deer and other wildlife species for his clients (see why so many laughed at him?). As a result, FALL RELOAD™ was designed to "marry" those resource concerns. FALL NOURISHMENT™ was developed and tested by Jason and his consulting clients as a blend that when planted in the fall, comes back with a vengeance the following late winter/spring/early summer to allow the soil health nut to get ahead of local weed species profile by building a thick residue mat, establishing massive plant residue for nutrient sequestration and mineralization, cover the soil, conserve/retain moisture, and provide an ideal seedbed for the next crop; typically a summer annual.

FALL NOURISHMENT™ VS. FALL RELOAD™ - Jason and his "grower clients" quickly noticed that while FALL RELOAD™ comes on quicker in the fall and comes back slower the following late winter/early spring, FALL NOURISHMENT™ starts off slow in the fall but kicks into high gear during the late winter/early spring months. These two blends offered exactly what we were looking for when it came to complementariness in soil health building blends. Since our consulting clients have been asking for more each year, we decided to offer it with our current lineup.
